Long slow pull through pages of text, staring at the screen until I'm cross-eyed. Powered by whatever substance gets my brain in gear, caffeine, sugar, beer! The joys of proof reading and spill chucking, sorry spell checking. Teaching the machine dictionary new words and spellings on the final draft and format for publish. Each day brings that a little closer, and the wonder, and the question, what if?
For now, back to the type face looking for that sparkling jewel of a title, or a witty rejoinder for a character in a tight spot.
