What you want to hear

Posted on 22nd January, 2013

A handful of words, half a dozen, a few more or less, but they have to be the right ones. The lift to self-confidence they can bring is energizing, the buzz and tinlge of hearing the words you want to hear.

Happened to me last week, I had a text from a friend back from his holiday, he'd taken both Iceline and Control Escape on his Kindle for holiday reading. His reaction was "Control Escape excellent" - unsolicited feedback given without prompting.

The time between purchase and feedback is fraught, waiting is never easy and knowing that it will bring a judgement on your work gives it a sharp edge to scrape uncomfortably against your confidence. A good result is always welcome and hearing "Excellent", and "couldn't put it down" is the response a writer longs to hear.

Check it out for yourself, don't take my word for it; the price of a decent coffee will put either one on to your device, the cost of two cups will get you both. Iceline and Control Escape
